Start of a successful professional career
Start of training for 46 apprentices at the German locations of the MAPAL Group.
46 apprentices have recently started their training at the German locations of the MAPAL Group. They can look forward to an exciting and educational time, along with the prospect of receiving optimal practical qualification for their future roles.
Training young people in a wide range of professions has always played a key role at MAPAL across all locations. Every year, dozens of young people begin their careers at the seven German sites, where MAPAL offers training in traditional professions with excellent prospects for continued employment. In addition to the company headquarters in Aalen, MAPAL is also training apprentices in 2025 at its competence centers in Altenstadt, Ehrenfriedersdorf, Eppingen, Meiningen, Pforzheim, and Winterlingen.
Markus Siebert, Senior Director HR Germany, emphasizes the importance of vocational training at MAPAL: "We are very pleased that, as in previous years, we are able to offer many young people the opportunity to gain professional qualifications at our Aalen site and at our six other German competence centers. This highlights MAPAL’s long-standing commitment to training and the importance of thoroughly preparing skilled personnel for future tasks. Our apprentices benefit from an experienced team of full-time trainers and modern training facilities. I wish all our apprentices a successful start and all the best for their journey."
41 of the 46 trainees are learning a technical profession.
Almost all of the new apprentices have chosen a technical profession. Of the 46 apprentices starting at MAPAL’s German locations, 41 have opted for careers such as cutting machine operator, industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, machine and plant operator, electronics technician for industrial engineering, or precision tool mechanic.
Two future industrial clerks, two logistics specialists, and one dual student in business informatics complete the 2025 training cohort.
The fact that so many young people have once again chosen to start their careers with the MAPAL Group not only reflects the solution-oriented training across a wide range of professions, but also the value of regular team-building activities, the exemplary support provided by trainers at all locations, and the long-term perspective of becoming part of the MAPAL family.
After an onboarding day, where the new apprentices learned key information about their training and the company, they took part in a training camp or team event together with trainers and HR representatives to get to know each other better.
