MAPAL honored 190 employees for their decades of loyalty to the company.

From ten to 45 years: 190 employees of MAPAL Dr Kress KG celebrated 2024 work anniversaries And the Aalen-based precision tool specialist used the traditional anniversary celebration at the “Freudenschmaus” as an opportunity to say more than just thank you

Those celebrating 45 and 40 years of service at MAPAL Aalen were honored by MAPAL boss Dr. Jochen Kress and Aalen's business promoter André Mandel at the “Freudenschmaus”.

No doubt: When such a large number of people come together, you need the right location. The "Freudenschmaus" provided the framework - and so Dr Jochen Kress, President of the MAPAL Group, welcomed the anniversaries and other invited guests, including André Mandel, head of the Office for Economic Development and Smart City of the city of Aalen, with an entertaining introductory speech. 
 
He underlined the great importance of the commitment and loyalty of the employees for MAPAL. “Thank you for your involvement and contribution to the success of MAPAL", said Dr Kress. The employees are the highest asset and MAPAL wants to be a company that attracts people, but in which they also like working. This only works if you work well together, and then success usually sets in and you stay true to the company." 
 

Four anniversaries have been with MAPAL for 45 years

For their loyalty to the company, 190 anniveraries were honored. That’s 60 more employees than last year - and almost two-thirds of these 190 people have been working at MAPAL for 25 or more years. Four anniveraries celebrated their 45th anniversary in 2024, while eleven employees started their careers at MAPAL 40 years ago. For 35 years of service, 33 people were honoured and another 25 employees were honored for 30 years. 117 employees celebrated their 25th or 10th anniversary in 2024. 
 
„You are the heart and soul of MAPAL", said Siegfried Sandhöfner, deputy chairman of the works council, to the anniveraries. The long-standing company loyalty testifies to the consistency and many successful projects, each individual employee has his own unique story to tell.

City of Aalen benefits from successful companies like MAPAL

Wirtschaftsförderer André Mandel betonte die hohe Loyalität zum Unternehmen, welche die MAPAL Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter seit Jahr und Tag auszeichne. „Respekt dafür – auch wie sie manche Krise der Vergangenheit mit bewältigt haben und so dem Unternehmen viele kluge Köpfe erhalten geblieben sind.“ Aalen profitiere sehr von erfolgreichen Unternehmen wie MAPAL, denn nur durch sie könne eine Stadt wie Aalen viele Investitionen in die öffentliche Infrastruktur erst tätigen. „Somit leistet auch MAPAL einen wichtigen Beitrag, dass wir unsere Heimat nicht nur lebenswert erhalten, sondern im Sinne der Bevölkerung weiter aufbauen können.“ 

Im Anschluss an die Redebeiträge ehrten Dr. Jochen Kress und André Mandel neun Jubilare für 40 Jahre Betriebszugehörigkeit. Sie erhielten eine Urkunde des Landes Baden-Württemberg sowie der Industrie- und Handelskammer (IHK). Die Jubilare mit 25 Jahren Betriebszugehörigkeit wurden ebenfalls mit einer Urkunde der IHK ausgezeichnet.
