The latest issue of the MAPAL technology magazine IMPULSE highlights how MAPAL is consistently advancing its organisation, technologies, and international activities. At the center of these developments is the merger of the German organisations into one strong, unified structure – an important step toward greater efficiency, clearer processes, and even closer proximity to customers.

MAPAL is also making its mark internationally: In China, the company continues to grow with local production, comprehensive services, and specialized aerospace expertise. MAPAL is further strengthening its role as a technology partner in the global aviation industry as well – with rapid testing cycles, stable processes, and customized solutions for assembly and component manufacturing.

One highlight of the issue is the report on a demonstrator component developed jointly with machine manufacturer bavius for the aerospace industry. The complex aluminum aircraft component is produced in impressively short machining time thanks to high performance tools and AeroCell technology, showcasing the potential of modern cutting processes.

Another customer example from Zerspanungstechnik Mangner GmbH in the die and mouldmaking sector demonstrates how MAPAL increases process reliability, reduces machining times, and enables sustainable efficiency gains through precise special solutions tailored to customer needs.

The edition also features product innovations for 2026 that were presented for the first time at EMO in September, including UNIQ DirectCool with integrated cooling, the new UNISET V basic plus system for precise adjustment of large tools, and an extension of the NeoMill milling cutter portfolio for series production. In the turnkey sector, MAPAL shows how integrated complete solutions accelerate processes and provide investment security.

Sustainable energy projects are also shaping the public image of the MAPAL Group – one more reason why IMPULSE 86 concludes with a report on the newly installed photovoltaic system at the Pforzheim site.
